The National Media Market Board is looking for your input for Professional Development activities for the 40th Anniversary National Media Market and Conference, October 7-11, 2018, in Indianapolis. Are there topics or themes you would like to hear more about? Best practices, programs, or technologies that you would like to take home to share with others at your institution?
If you have comments and suggestions, we are interested in hearing from you! Please send them through the form above, no later than April 23, 2018.
We are also seeking proposals for Professional Development sessions for NMM 2018. Sessions should focus on an issue or project you or your institution are working on and would like to share with other attendees at the market, or themes that touch on aspects of film production, distribution, preservation, policy, standards or law that possibly would be of interest to media buyers or vendors. NMM will apply for state Library Education Units (LEU) certification for all sessions held this year.
Please send us your proposal by April 23, 2018, using the appropriate form above. Board members will review and notify presenters about the acceptance of their submissions in late May.
If your proposal is accepted, you and others involved may be awarded with free registration.
